Alaska's News Source is an award-winning, dominant number-one station looking for an experienced, licensed meteorologist for this critical part-time role, one we lean on to cover unfilled schedules as needed. The ideal candidate has broadcast meteorology and digital experience, a comfortable on-air appearance, a climate reporting skill set, and be able to break down complex weather data into easy-to-understand broadcast and online weather casts, written stories, and multimedia weather content for digital platforms. We are looking for a proven Meteorologist with a passion for the career field and experience on broadcast and digital platforms, but with a schedule that is flexible to help us fill shifts both in advance and at the last-minute whenever needed.
