Three part-time positions available! 20-29 hrs/wk - $18.44(S) ;17.75(J). Must have clean driving record. Must be available between 7:00pm-4:00am Sunday-Saturday, varied schedule with time off! FT 30-40 hrs/wk - $18.44(S) ;17.75(J). Summary: In alignment with Assets, Inc.'s core values and mission, this position plays a crucial role in the success of our contract by performing a variety of stocking and janitorial duties. Your dedication will help maintain a safe and organized environment, ensuring a positive experience for both customers and coworkers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Uphold and demonstrate Assets, Inc.'s core values and mission in all tasks.
2. Perform direct labor according to OSHA safety standards and site management requirements. Duties include: moving merchandise using heavy equipment, stocking shelves and displays, rotating stock, and repairing labels, cleaning shelves and fronting merchandise, operating a cardboard bailer and pallet jacks, emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning restrooms, maintaining hard floors and spot cleaning carpets, cleaning the meat market area.
3. Participate actively in company meetings and trainings.
4. Maintain proactive relationships with customers and coworkers.
5. Adhere to all company policies.
6. Support team efforts and contribute to strengthening team structures.
7. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education and Experience: No formal education or experience required. Six months of prior successful employment or related experience preferred. High School Diploma or GED is a plus.
• Language Skills: Ability to read and recognize simple words and numbers. Capability to print and speak simple sentences.
• Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense to carry out simple instructions. Manage standardized situations with minimal variables.
• Certificates and Licenses: Insured vehicle and a valid Alaska driver's license (with no or low points). Provide a driving record, proof of insurance at hire. Comply with Joint Base Elmendorf/Richardson transportation regulations. Pass a criminal background check and obtain security clearance for the worksite.

Desired Skills and Abilities:

• Experience in grocery stocking.
• Previous janitorial experience.
• Familiarity with industry-standard stocking and janitorial equipment.
• Experience working with individuals who experience disabilities.
• Effective communication skills.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear.
• Frequently required to climb or balance.
• Must regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

• Occasional exposure to high, precarious places.
• Moderate noise level in the work environment.
