divh2Ramp Service Agents/h2pRamp Service Agents (RSA) at Pegasus Aviation Services are responsible for marshalling aircraft in the gate, loading, unloading and sorting freight and baggage. RSAs are also responsible for servicing security functions, aircraft lavatories, potable water, push back aircraft from the gate, deicing and other duties as delegated./ppResponsibilities:/pulliMarshall aircraft on the ramp (includes directing, assisting and parking all arriving, departing and towed aircraft)./liliService aircraft as needed including: lavatory service, water service, cabin cleaning, other services as needed, aircraft de-icing / anti-icing./liliLoading and unloading of aircraft baggage and cargo./liliPerform safe and efficient operations of all ground service equipment./liliMonitoring Security: Vigilantly observing, inspecting, monitoring, and screening all passengers, airport personnel and crew regularly to detect any potential security breaches or safety hazards./liliPrevent breaches of security in the area assigned and being prepared to promptly respond to any calls for assistance from the pilot or crew of any aircraft, addressing their concerns and needs swiftly and effectively./liliProactively preventing breaches of aviation security and safety within their designated area of responsibility. This includes taking action to mitigate or resolve any security or safety concerns that may arise./liliConducting comprehensive security screenings for departing passengers and their baggage. Additionally, performing mobile, foot, and static patrols within assigned areas./liliResponsible for maintaining safety and security of aircraft./liliMiscellaneous duties as assigned./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliBe at least 18 years of age./liliMust be willing to work in inclement weather./liliGood communication skills./liliMust be a U.S. citizen or show proof of right to work in the U.S./liliAbility to lift 60 pounds comfortably./liliAble to fluently read, write, speak and understand English./liliAbility to work under stressful situations and tight time constraints in a fast-paced environment./liliSelf-motivated, team player./liliRequired to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules./liliSuccessfully complete a background investigation, including FBI fingerprints, criminal history and pre-employment drug test./li/ulpDesired Qualifications:/pulliPrior Ramp Service experience./liliDe-ice Service experience./liliForklift Operator./liliPossess a valid Drivers License preferred./li/ulpLanguage Skills:/pulliRead and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals./liliWrite routine reports and correspondence./liliSpeak effectively one-to-one and before groups of customers or employees of the organization./li/ulpMath Skills:/pulliAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals./li/ulpReasoning Abilities:/pulliApply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram form./liliDeal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations./li/ulpPhysical Demands: Moderate./pulliThe RSA on occasion may lift or move (with help) up to 100 pounds, and/or more frequently lift or move 60 pounds. RSAs are regularly required to use hands, talk, hear, bend, climb, stoop, kneel, stand and walk./liliSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus./liliRSAs routinely work outside for a portion and are exposed to all types of weather conditions./liliThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can vary dramatically depending on location and time of day.
