Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Data Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with the Snowflake cloud data platform and a passion for transforming data into meaningful business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain analytical data models and views using Snowflake
  • Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for reporting and analysis
  • Perform data validation, quality checks, and reconciliation across multiple data sources
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements
  • Translate business questions into actionable, data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Support data ingestion and transformation processes in collaboration with data engineering teams
  • Monitor and optimize Snowflake query performance and cost efficiency
  • Document data definitions, business logic, and analytical workflows
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, querying, performance tuning)
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Experience working with large-scale datasets in cloud data warehouses
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts (fact/dimension tables, star schema)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have:
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Fivetran, Informatica, Matillion, or dbt
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Knowledge of Python for data analysis or automation
  • Consulting or client-facing experience in fast-paced environments
  • Snowflake or cloud-related certifications
