Job Position

This position provides a wide variety of cleaning services and other related duties required to keep the facilities in a clean and orderly condition. Responsibilities include cleaning, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing, and restocking hallways, stairways, offices, food preparation or break areas, offsite areas, restrooms, public areas or other work areas as assigned. Dusting both low and high areas, and wiping down or cleaning various surfaces. Removing and transporting trash to appropriate disposal areas. Using appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions for all tasks. Maintaining a clean and orderly cart and storage areas. Replenishing guest supplies and amenities as required. Ability to recognize and use proper PPE for the job task. Adherence to all safety policies, requirements and training. Reporting any material discrepancies, damage and/or theft to the manager or maintenance department. Other duties pertinent to the department or unit's success may also be assigned.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED equivalent. At least six months experience demonstrating a working knowledge of cleaning equipment and general cleaning processes. Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, callouts, etc. Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing English.

Working conditions and physical requirements include occasional exposure to moderate weather conditions, moderate noise level, medium pace of work environment, medium customer interaction. Administrative office buildings frequently required to walk and stand. Occasionally required to lift. Rarely required to pull and push. Physical requirements include frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Travel: None.
