We are seeking experienced Legal Experts to contribute to an exciting new research initiative focused on benchmarking and advancing the capabilities of cutting-edge AI systems in the legal domain. Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with research teams to design realistic legal scenarios and case studies.
• Draft and review legal-style content including prompts, briefs, memos, and responses.
• Evaluate and provide feedback on legal accuracy, clarity, and analytical rigor.
• Participate in focused project sprints, working closely with a multidisciplinary team.
• Engage in iterative project development to refine methods and outputs.

Note: This is an experimental research project that requires adaptability and close collaboration with the project team.

Ideal Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of legal experience, preferably at a leading U.S. law firm or in-house with a major corporation.
• Licensed attorney in the United States or Canada.
• Strong foundation in legal research, drafting, and analysis across domains such as corporate law, litigation, or regulatory compliance.
• Excellent written communication, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to iterate and adapt in a dynamic research environment.

• Start Date: October 3rd
• Duration: 6–8 weeks
• Commitment: ~30 hours per week

Compensation & Contract

• Competitive hourly rate: $90–$110 USD/hour (based on experience)
• Performance-based bonuses: $20–$100 USD/hour for top contributors
• Engagement type: Independent contractor
• Payment method: Stripe Connect
