Beacon Inspections is searching for 1099 Independent Contractor Commercial Vehicle Field Inspectors in all US regions.

The ideal Independent Contractor will have experience as a diesel technician or in automotive repair industry and a knowledge of trucks, trailers, and equipment maintenance. Other common background includes auto inspectors, home inspectors, and insurance adjusters.

Required:

• 1099 Independent Contractor status
• Flexible Schedule (daylight hours, Monday - Friday)
• Comfortable working outdoors
• Access to a newer smartphone or tablet with sufficient data plan
• Access to a laptop/desktop computer
• Basic OBD II Scanner (if do not have we will provide)
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft and other web based software
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

Compensation:

$15,000 - $75,000 per year (part or full time)

Paid per inspection with mileage reimbursement.
