Opening: Maintenance Technician
Location: Anchorage, AK
Pay: $23.00+ DOE W/ Benefits

We're hiring a Maintenance Technician for a respected Anchorage-based nonprofit that manages both residential and commercial properties. We're partnering with a long-standing local nonprofit dedicated to providing safe, well-maintained spaces that serve the people of Anchorage. Their team values dependability, teamwork, and pride in keeping properties in top condition for residents and tenants alike.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial properties
- Troubleshoot issues with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Complete preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and emergency repairs
- Maintain building exteriors and grounds as needed
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with staff to ensure properties meet safety and quality standards
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience in building maintenance, facilities, or a related trade
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Valid Alaska driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
