Job Details

Under limited supervision, the Security Officer provides security and protection of work site(s), personnel and assets at the Chugach Electric southcentral power generation facility located near Minnesota Parkway and International Airport Road in Anchorage. Enforces site-specific security and safety measures, performs regular patrols of assigned premises, and responds to incidents based on established standard operational procedures. The schedule for this position is a 2 x 2 week rotation, working a 12-hour shift. Housing and transportation are not provided. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Must be at least 21 years of age High school diploma or GED Minimum 3 years of experience in law enforcement, military police, corrections, or private security Ability to read, write and speak English Valid driver's license. A reliable means of transportation and communication. Alaska State Unarmed Security Officer License or able to obtain within established timeframe.
