Job Overview

The Willow Construction Supervisor is a pivotal member of the Willow Construction Team, providing leadership and oversight for the safe and efficient delivery of the Willow Pipeline Program. Reporting to the Willow Pipeline Superintendent, this role is accountable for managing all aspects of assigned field construction activities—including planning, execution, safety, and team coordination. The Construction Supervisor will oversee one of two geographically distinct work fronts, ensuring high standards in health, safety, environmental performance, quality, and project delivery.

Roles And Responsibilities

Planning
  • Prepare Construction Readiness checklists for each campaign season
  • Review construction permits, engineering drawings, and field plans; identify constraints and hazards
  • Participate in constructability reviews, provide feedback on execution strategies
  • Contribute to support strategies regarding camps, logistics, equipment, materials, and safety
  • Promote knowledge sharing and apply best practices and lessons learned
Execution
  • Develop and review Company deliverables for the Construction Readiness process
  • Lead construction readiness and weekly planning meetings with Company and Contractor teams
  • Oversee and supervise all assigned field construction activities and resources
  • Monitor Contractor performance and project progress, ensuring targets for scope, quality, cost, and HSE are met
  • Facilitate interface management and coordination between multiple contractors and field operations
  • Direct contractor performance; identify improvements and deliver contract requirements
  • Ensure effective communication and alignment among Construction, Drilling, Completions, and Operations teams
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
  • Proactively lead and enforce Company safety and environmental policies and procedures
  • Conduct jobsite walk-downs, participate in safety meetings, and enforce regulatory compliance
  • Facilitate safety engagement activities and predictive indicator meetings
  • Implement and support the Incident Free Culture (IFC) and Behavior Based Safety (BBS) systems
  • Drive continuous improvement in contractor safety performance and workplace culture

Skills And Qualifications

Basic / Required
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • 10+ years of pipeline construction experience
  • 7+ years of construction supervision/construction management experience
  • Proven ability to lead and deliver large-scale construction projects safely and successfully
  • Proven capability to manage multiple field construction contractors and interfaces
  • Ability to work a rotation schedule on the North Slope upon site mobilization
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Construction, or relevant field discipline
  • 5+ years of pipeline construction in Arctic conditions
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration on large-scale projects
  • Ability to multi-task and manage ongoing, concurrent activities
  • Capability to work across organizational boundaries and build trust-based relationships
  • Positive, adaptive approach to change, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Strong adherence to company values and safety culture

Job Details

  • Location: North Slope, Alaska
  • Compensation: $52.28/hr
  • Schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation
