Aspen Suites Hotel Downtown Anchorage is preparing to open, and we are building our opening Guest Services & Food & Beverage team! We are seeking friendly, energetic Breakfast Attendants — one full-time and one part-time — to provide a welcoming morning experience for our guests. Breakfast Attendant — Full Time & Part Time Available

Position Purpose:

The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing, stocking, and maintaining the complimentary breakfast area, ensuring tables and service stations remain clean, stocked, and welcoming throughout the breakfast period.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Prepare items for breakfast service — coffee, fruit, cereals, breads, juices, and more
  • Stock and refresh the buffet throughout service hours
  • Greet guests warmly, answer questions about offerings, and assist as needed
  • Clear and clean tables, sweep/mop floors, and remove trash
  • Maintain high sanitation and food safety standards
  • Assist with washing dishes, replenishing tableware, and organizing the service area
  • Follow brand quality standards and presentation expectations
  • Support breakfast cook and complete closing/cleaning procedures

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

  • Friendly, conversational, guest-focused attitude with willingness to assist
  • Ability to stand up to 7 hours per shift and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to multitask between food prep, guest interaction, and cleaning duties
  • Ability to communicate clearly with guests and coworkers
  • Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to stay calm during busy or short-staffed periods
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player

The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four hours a day. In addition, this is a hospitality business and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times.
