What We're Looking For
* Experience matters: Previous custodial experience is preferred, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn go a long way.
* Flexibility is key: Ability to adjust hours or assignments as needed.
* Know your tools: Familiarity with cleaning supplies and equipment is helpful.
* Strength and stamina: You'll need to lift up to 100 lbs (average 25 lbs), push/pull heavy floor machines, and stay on your feet for 10-hour shifts.
* Physical resilience: Frequent bending, stooping, twisting-this is a hands-on role that keeps you moving.
What You'll Be Doing
* Keeping assigned areas clean and safe.
* Maintaining cleanliness across warehouses, offices, and common spaces.
* Sanitizing restrooms to the highest standards.
* Caring for and operating company equipment, including power pallet jacks and forklifts.
* Playing a vital role in the overall health and safety of our workplace.
The Challenge
This job is physically demanding. You'll work long shifts on concrete floors, handle heavy equipment, and adapt to changing priorities. But if you're up for it, you'll join a team that values hard work and rewards reliability.
Schedule
* Day Shift: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
* Night Shift: 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM
(Must be able/willing to work either shift.
Additional Details
* This is a union position; union membership and a dispatch letter will be required prior to starting.
