Leidos is seeking an Occupational Health and Safety Analyst to join our team supporting the NISC IV program in Anchorage, AK or Fairbanks, AK.

In this role, you will:

  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state Occupational Safety and Health regulations, maintaining necessary records.

  • Participate in OSHA inspections and manage follow-up procedures related to citations.

  • Investigate incidents and prepare reports on workplace injuries and fatalities.

  • Conduct training courses on safe work procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the FAA, ATO, and WSA Environmental, Occupational Safety & Health Program, assisting District Safety and Environmental Compliance Managers.

  • Assist with Asbestos, Lead, Environmental Compliance, OSH Compliance, and other safety programs.

  • Engage in EOSH investigations related to potential accidents and employee complaints as assigned.

Please Note:

  • Travel may be required up to 50% of the time.

  • This position must be performed onsite in Anchorage, AK or Fairbanks, AK.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% - 50% for Anchorage District support.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Security clearance (Candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents who have lived in the U.S. for the last 3 years).

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2 years of relevant experience; additional relevant work experience may substitute for educational requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or Associate Safety Professional are highly desired.

  • Certifications related to Asbestos, Lead, or HAZWOPER are a plus.

  • Able to be fit-tested and participate in a Respiratory Protection Program.

  • Requirements to climb and oversee Fall Protection Program adherence.

  • Experience with confined spaces, forklift operation, and aerial lift operation is advantageous.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills, with a proactive approach to teamwork.

Compensation: The salary range for this role is estimated between $87,000 and $95,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
