Night Auditor

Behind the scenes in every successful business are the accountants and administrative staff that support the entire organization. As a night auditor, you analyze, verify, and report on all sales for the resort with an eye for detail. Auditing transactions and verifying records help keep us profitable. Businesses cannot continue the next day until the night auditor has finished their work and therefore is a crucial position to the functionality of the entire business. The small group of people that work overnight is a special team that makes sure the property is safe and the next business day starts over for each venue.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process and print daily sales information using the property management system.
- Organize sales receipts from the front desk, tour desk, retail, and food & beverage departments and flag errors.
- Monitor alarm panels and communicate with guests, employees, security, management, and emergency personnel in the event of urgent and/or emergent medical and non-medical incidents on the property.
- Apply knowledge of local information, company products, optional tours, services, and operations for guests and employees to enhance their vacation and work experience.
- Provide excellent customer service and analyze situations, investigate problems, and determine solutions.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must pass a pre-employment background check.
- Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, and maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.
- Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs./11kg.
- Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
