Accountant 3 What You Will Be Doing:The Accountant 3 (Business Office Manager), is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the Alaska Psychiatric Institute (API) Business Office. The incumbent is responsible for the development and supervision of internal fiscal controls and for multiple financial systems, revenue collection, payables, preparation of financial reports, and analysis of financial data for federal and non-federal receipts including hospital claiming activities. The incumbent is expected to independently apply generally accepted accounting principles and ensure medical billing practices are in accordance with industry standards, and CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) Rules and Regulations.
