Security Analyst - Anchorage AK

Under the direct supervision of the Chief Information Security Officer, implements, and/or maintains security functional systems, programs, and services. Acts to mentor Municipal Information Technology employees in network/security best practices, diagnose network and security problems. Perform other required duties as assigned.

Minimum Education Required: High School/GED

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities: Minimum Qualifications / Substitutions / Preferences High school diploma, GED or equivalent, and eight (8) years of experience in the field related to the position. OR Associate's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related discipline, and six (6) years of experience in the field related to the position. OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline, and four (4) years of experience in the field related to the position. OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, a related discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the field related to the position. Must obtain: Satisfactory background check, which includes criminal, education, and employment history at time of hire. Satisfactory Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) background check within 30 days of hire. Preference: Valid State of Alaska Driver's License.

Salary: $38.06 - $56.30 Hourly
