We are seeking a Clinical Administrator to support our DME (Durable Medical Equipment) program through exceptional organization, communication, and customer service. In this role, you will ensure all patient records, referrals, equipment orders, and follow-up processes are handled accurately and efficiently - helping patients receive the care and confidence they need.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating workflows, solving problems, supporting clinical teams, and keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes.

What you'll Do

Administrative & Patient Coordination

  • Coordinate and schedule DME delivery and service appointments.
  • Communicate with patients, caregivers, referral sources, and clinical staff.
  • Provide basic equipment education and assist patients with non-clinical support questions.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to ensure satisfaction and continuity of care.
Documentation & Data Management
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including prescriptions and care plans.
  • Enter and update health records, insurance information and service notes.
  • Track and organize equipment documentation, test results, and compliance reports.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
  • Ensure adherence to healthcare standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor changes in patient status or equipment needs and relay information to clinical staff.
  • Assist with audits, documentation reviews, and quality control processes.
Office & Operations Support
  • Assist with inventory tracking and ordering of supplies.
  • Generate reports and process paperwork related to DME services.
  • Support cross-functional teams through administrative tasks and communication.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Experience in healthcare administration, DME/HME, respiratory care, or clinical support (preferred)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient with computer systems, data entry, and documentation.
  • Valid Alaska driver's license, proof of insurance, and acceptable driving record (required)
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening (required).
