Role Summary

Responsible for day-to-day operations of the parts department. Expedites parts pick up or delivery as needed or requested. Works with Maintenance Department to provide needed equipment and supplies.

Compensation Starting at $23.00 p/hr
Employment Type Regular Full-Time
FLSA Status Non-Exempt

Key Duties

  • Expedite trips to local vendors to pick up purchases or deliver merchandise.
  • Ensure shipping and receiving of serviceable and repairable parts. Check that they are clean and drained of any fluid and attachments are removed as needed.
  • Complete HAZMAT shipping documents as needed.
  • Inspect shelf-life components monthly per company policy.
  • Assists with identifying, locating, and purchasing of GSE parts.
  • Stock serviceable parts from inspection area of receiving.
  • Support Stockroom counter as needed.
  • Monitor tool calibration program for Anchorage.
  • Prepare purchase orders for shop supplies, consumables, and stock items to ensure stock levels are maintained.
  • Prepare M-10's for repairable parts utilizing RAAS Database for proper green tag ABD repair order information.
  • Keep your work areas clean and free of hazards; correct unsafe conditions when encountered and report those that you can't personally correct to a supervisor.
  • Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles and stockroom.
  • Additional functions and requirements may be assigned by supervisors as deemed appropriate.
  • Available for weekend call out and overtime when needed.
  • Be able to travel to work outside of Anchorage base when needed, Fairbanks, Palmer and Lardo.

  • Requires the ability to understand, retain, and deliver information verbally and written.
  • Requires good organizational, attention to detail, and record keeping skills and the ability to maintain current and updated information.
  • Requires the ability to input and retrieve information from a database.
  • Proficiency in keyboarding and experience with computerized inventory systems
  • Valid Driver License
