Under the direction of management, coordinates, and monitors grants activities. Serves as an accounting professional with the responsibility of accurately reporting and tracking financial activities as it relates to grants for the Public Transportation Department (PTD). Maintain grant files in the development and maintenance of internal record keeping and accounting controls. Verifies funds for expenditures ensuring compliance with all federal and state grant requirements. Provides financial control through the participation and processing of accounts payables/receivables, purchase requisitions, vouchers, and journal entries. Prepares and/or reviews applications, contracts, agreements, amendments, and other grant related documents.
