Overall responsibility and accountability for daily and scheduled maintenance of assigned stations and/or facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include but are not limited to the following; additional duties may be assigned.
- Maintain a courteous and professional relationship with all customers, vendors, subordinates, co-workers, and managers. "Treat others as you would want to be treated."
- Provide own transportation at own cost, including fuel, maintenance, repairs, and insurance.
- Ensure all monies are secure, properly recorded, and deposited for all assigned locations.
- Maintain a professional appearance; clothing must be in good condition and appropriate for tasks. Wear the designated uniform and display identification badge if required.
- Accurately complete and submit all required paperwork for each shift.
- Properly record all worked hours using the timekeeping system; notify a manager of discrepancies.
- Use safety gear such as vests, rain gear, gloves, hard hats, masks, and eyewear as required.
- Clean, maintain, and repair properties to ensure they are attractive and safe. Set up, install, and remove equipment as directed. Ability to clean, prepare, and paint surfaces; create and maintain landscaped areas; create basic signs.
- Operate vehicles such as mini-bus, van/shuttle, plow truck, sander, and snow blower as needed.
- Drive vehicles according to schedule, complying with all laws, adjusting to conditions, and always wearing seatbelts.
- Report safety and maintenance issues to supervisors; secure areas if necessary.
- Maintain assigned locations free of trash and debris; repair hazards like potholes and broken signage promptly.
- Inspect and clear drains of debris to ensure proper functioning.
- Be available for unscheduled hours/overtime, including overnight and weekends for snow removal operations.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience
High school diploma or GED; 6-12 months related experience preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
Licenses
Valid state-issued drivers license and proof of insurance.
Language Skills
Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions and communicate effectively in small groups.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.
Reasoning Ability
Apply common sense in duties and follow instructions.
Physical Demands
Must be able to stand, walk, run, sit, climb, balance, stoop, crouch, and kneel. Frequently lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift up to 70 pounds.
Other
Willing to transfer/relocate without notice; travel between Canada and the USA may be required.
Work Environment
Exposure to wet/humid conditions, fumes, airborne particles, and outdoor weather. Noise level is moderate to loud.
