The Food Service Worker position performs a variety of cleaning, maintenance, food preparation, stocking, or serving duties in a commercial hotel food service area. This position will support food service operations at the Kuik Cafe in Bethel, AK at the Qavartarvik Customer Lodge. This is a rotational position in Bethel, AK. The rotation schedule will be 4 weeks on and 4 weeks off. Lodging and three meals per day provided. The point of hire origins are Anchorage, AK at the YKHC Service Area. Responsibilities Washes food service area objects by hand or with cleaning equipment. Cleans dishes, utensils, pots, pans etc. and places in assigned storage areas in an organized and orderly manner. Cleans, sweep, mop and wipe down all general food service areas and equipment. Removes garbage from assigned areas, sets up or breaks down tables, etc. May assist cooks or others as needed and coordinates one's own activities with other food service activities and requirements.
