Under supervision, the Lead Recreation Specialist leads entry-level facility staff. Delivers recreation activities and events, monitors participant behavior and maintain a clean facility. This position is distinguished from that of Recreation Specialist I by the degree of accountability in the work and greater latitude in the exercise of independent judgment concerning assigned duties. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications / Substitutions / Preferences High school diploma, GED, or equivalent and one (1) year experience in the program or activity under consideration. Prior experience in the use of recreational equipment is required.
