The Division of Juvenile Justice is recruiting to fill a Juvenile Probation Officer 1/2 position located in the Anchorage Juvenile Probation office on the campus of the Mc. Laughlin Youth Center. What You Will Be Doing. The Juvenile Probation Officer is responsible for monitoring, motivating, and supervising a caseload of both formal case and informal case juvenile offenders to address accountability, facilitate community restoration, and develop the skills necessary to lead productive and crime free lives as adults. The services provided to youth are individualized and focused on their rehabilitation, building upon their strengths. This position will screen and process juvenile criminal referrals from the early pre-court services through the court process, with supervision and case management.
