The Alaska SPCA is on the hunt for a Veterinary Customer Service Representative with a heart of gold, nerves of steel, and a love for all things furry.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 3 years of customer service experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to type 40+ words per minute with high accuracy
- Must be able to work Fridays and Saturdays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Not less than 6 months' experience in a medical/veterinary setting
- High-volume appointment scheduling experience
- Cash handling experience
- Experience in a veterinary practice environment is highly preferred
- Knowledge of veterinary clinic procedures and terminologies
- Knowledge of companion animal welfare issues and sterilization
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Frequent bending and standing throughout the day
Job Status:
- Non-exempt; Full time: 40 hours a week
Compensation and Benefits:
- $21.00-$22.00 an hour, depending on skills and experience
- Four-day workweek
- Paid vacation, sick, and holiday leave in addition to 3 paid personal days annually.
