The Alaska SPCA is on the hunt for a Veterinary Customer Service Representative with a heart of gold, nerves of steel, and a love for all things furry.

This is no ordinary CSR position. Think of it as the ultimate blend of customer care, animal advocacy, and adrenaline! Here's what you're signing up for:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3 years of customer service experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to type 40+ words per minute with high accuracy
  • Must be able to work Fridays and Saturdays

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Not less than 6 months' experience in a medical/veterinary setting
  • High-volume appointment scheduling experience
  • Cash handling experience
  • Experience in a veterinary practice environment is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of veterinary clinic procedures and terminologies
  • Knowledge of companion animal welfare issues and sterilization

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Frequent bending and standing throughout the day

Job Status:
  • Non-exempt; Full time: 40 hours a week

Compensation and Benefits:
  • $21.00-$22.00 an hour, depending on skills and experience
  • Four-day workweek
  • Paid vacation, sick, and holiday leave in addition to 3 paid personal days annually.
