Job Details

The Engineering Lead oversees a design team in the design and preparation of plans, and construction contract documents for municipal street, drainage, site, and water quality projects, utilizing computer-aided design, drafting software applications, and recognized design criteria. Work includes scoping, planning, design and preparation of construction documents, including drawings, specifications, bid proposals, and detailed estimates of probable construction costs for new or upgraded municipal street, trail, drainage, site, and water quality improvements or projects. Duties of the Engineering Lead include receiving project assignments from the Engineering Manager and distributing the assignments within their design team. Develop project schedules and managing staff schedules and workloads to complete assigned tasks on schedule.
