Overview

The University of Alaska Anchorage, Prince William Sound College (PWSC), seeks an Assistant Professor of Computer Information Systems/Security to instruct 100 and 200-level courses in Computer Information Systems disciplines relevant and appropriate to the successful candidate's educational background and teaching qualifications. This is a full-time (9-month), term, faculty position.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science required. This eligibility requirement may be met with a related bachelors degree with at least 18 graduate credits in computer science.
• Qualifying earned degrees from the United States must be conferred by institutions of higher education that are accredited by one of the six U.S. regional accrediting associations. Unofficial transcripts must be submitted with the application. Successful applicants must provide official transcripts documenting academic credentials required for the position as a condition of employment.

Position Details

This position is located on the University of Alaska PWSC in Valdez. This is a full-time, 9-month, term faculty appointment complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package.
