Open to the general public and any current Municipal employee.

This position is represented by the Anchorage Municipal Employee Association (AMEA) and is subject to the provisions of the current agreement between the Municipality of Anchorage and the AMEA.

DEPARTMENT: Parks and Recreation

HOURS OF WORK: Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm

LOCATION: 12001 Business Blvd, Ste. 123, Eagle River

Remote work schedule opportunities (telecommuting) may be considered after successful completion of probation, at the discretion of management and with the approval of the department head. Not all positions are eligible for remote work (telecommuting) per PandP 40-40.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline and five (years of experience in landscape design, engineering, construction administration, or a related field; one year of which must have been as a Landscape Architect with the Municipality of Anchorage or equivalent elsewhere.)
• Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline and three (years of experience in landscape design, engineering, construction administration, or a related field; one year of which must have been as a Landscape Architect with the Municipality of Anchorage or equivalent elsewhere.)
