Environmental Compliance Consultants inc. (ECC) offers an exciting opportunity to pursue or continue a career in environmental and industrial services as a Technician at our JBER service center. Driver Technicians are the backbone of all ECC industrial operations and the driving force behind our commitment to the environment and local communities. Requirements

• Load, unload, secure, and transport cargo
• Inspect, handle, and containerize hazardous waste and materials
• Inspect containers and collection areas for compliance with regulatory requirements
• Perform routine daily vehicle and equipment inspections
• Maintain and clean industrial systems; oil water separators, etc.
• Spill response, remediation, and clean-up activities
• General warehouse operations, labor, and housekeeping
• Pump fluids and other materials
• Data entry and record keeping
• Follow safety program requirements as priority one; always acting in a safe manner
• Provide excellent customer service and client relations
• Abide by company drug-free policy including recreational and medicinal marijuana
• Accomplish assigned tasks with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities

Qualifications:

• Possess or obtain a 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification
• Pass pre-employment DOT drug test including marijuana
• Ability to pass a government background check for military installation access
• Ability to pass occupational and DOT physicals
• Ability to wear a full and half face respirator
• Have a positive attitude, Integrity, and strong work ethic
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job
• General computer skills
