Materials Management Supervisor

Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking to add a Materials Management Supervisor to our team at Baptist Clay Medical Center. This is a Full-Time Days opportunity. This position will work closely with suppliers and other members of the supply department team to ensure our clinical professionals have the supplies needed to care for patients. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in customer service and supply chain, has leadership skills, and possess the ability to proactively resolve issues and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Planning and coordinating the activities of the Materials Management department.


• Directing daily activities of department including work assignments, performance evaluations, and disciplinary counseling.


• Analyzing working conditions and recommending changes to increase efficiency.


• Inventory control.


• Incoming receipts.


• Distribution.


• Customer service at front desk.


• Ordering supplies.


• Par carts.


• Cycle counts.


• Deliveries to all departments.

Qualifications

Education Required

• High School Diploma/GED

Preferred Education

• Associate's Degree

Experience

• 3-5 Years Supervisory Experience


• Experience in warehouse setting

License and Certification
