This position involves designing, estimating, specifying, programming, and commissioning electronic access control and security camera hardware and software. Candidates must have technical knowledge of Electronic Safety and Security industry standards and hands-on field experience.
Job Duties:
System Design and Implementation
The role requires practical experience in designing and implementing ESS systems. Responsibilities include selecting and configuring components such as cameras, door hardware, and card readers according to specific project needs.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance
The specialist will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving both hardware and software issues to ensure all systems operate properly.
Compliance and Security
Ensuring all ESS systems are compliant with relevant codes, standards, security policies, and regulations—including BICSI, EIA, TIA, NEC, NESC, and NFPA—is a key aspect of this role.
Technical Skills
Expertise in configuring Video Management Systems and Access Control Systems is required. Credentials in Axis Communications, Genetec, and Verkada platforms are preferred. Proficiency in the Microsoft 365 Productivity Suite is also necessary.

$50/hr to $60/hr.
