Houseman Job Description

Location: Marriott Anchorage Downtown

A houseman is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of a hotel or resort. The houseman's duties include:

* Cleaning and maintaining public areas, and back-of-house areas

* Assisting housekeeping staff with laundry and other tasks as needed

* Stocking and replenishing supplies in guest rooms and public areas

* Assisting with guest requests and needs

* Performing other duties as assigned by management

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

* Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field

* Excellent attention to detail

* Strong communication and customer service skills

* The ability to work independently and as part of a team

* A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
