As a Math Recitation Leader, you'll be at the forefront of student learning and engagement. Recitation Leaders facilitate weekly recitation study sessions for ANSEP students, providing crucial academic support. Recitation leaders help ANSEP students understand course material, develop study skills, prepare for exams, and facilitate peer collaboration between students. Recitation offerings change each semester depending on student need. Math Recitation Leaders work closely with the ANSEP Math Recitation and Tutoring Program Manager, ANSEP University Success Director, and Acceleration Academy staff to ensure students are academically successful and meeting ANSEP program requirements.
This position is located on the UAA campus in Anchorage. This is a part-time student position. New hires will be placed on the UA Student Salary Schedule, based on education and experience.
