Overview

Manager Contracting remote role at Providence. The Contracting Manager leads a team of contracting specialists who draft, negotiate, and help operationalize clinician employment and services agreements at Providence entities. In addition to direct management responsibilities, the manager is the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for regional executives negotiating agreements and will identify, escalate, and operationalize necessary improvements to contract templates, contracting workflows, and governance documents. You should have a strong working knowledge of Stark, Anti-Kickback, and other healthcare contracting compliance requirements, familiarity with provider compensation structures and methodologies, and experience implementing and managing complex contracting software.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of contracting specialists who draft, negotiate, and operationalize clinician employment and services agreements at Providence entities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for regional executives negotiating agreements.
• Identify, escalate, and operationalize improvements to contract templates, contracting workflows, and governance documents.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in contracting activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• 5 years experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal language in a fast-paced environment.
• 4 years experience in a leadership role, with or without direct reports.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a related field, or
• Juris Doctorate Degree
• 5 years experience in a healthcare setting with responsibility for regulatory compliance.
