Environmental Services Contract Support

This position provides a wide variety of cleaning services and other related duties required to keep the facilities in a clean and orderly condition. This position will be dispatched to various site locations between Anchorage and the Valley to provide environmental services contract support to multiple buildings and facilities. Travel dispatch notification, duration, and location will vary based on client and contract demand. The point of hire for this position is Anchorage, AK.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED equivalent.

- At least 6 months experience that demonstrates a working knowledge of cleaning equipment and general cleaning processes.

- The ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, callouts, etc.

- Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.

Background Requirement: Level One: An individual is ineligible to work in any position that has Regular Contact With or Control over Children, Dependent Adults or Vulnerable Persons if the individual has been convicted of:

• One or more felonies and/or two or more misdemeanors of Crimes Against Persons and/or Crimes of Violence.
• Any Crime against a Child, Dependent Adult or Vulnerable person, regardless of its classification as a felony, misdemeanor, or other type of offense.
• Any Sex Crime, regardless of its classification as a felony, misdemeanor, or other type of offense.
• Murder.

Preferred Qualifications:

- A valid driver's license with a 3 year driving record acceptable to the company's insurance carrier.

Description of environment: Healthcare facility

Frequently required to walk and stand. Occasionally required to lift. Rarely required to pull and push. Physical requirements: Must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

Travel: Employee will travel up to 50% of the time to remote areas and may be required to use alternative modes of transportation, including but not limited to snow machines, boats, small airplanes, helicopters, and ATVs.
