Coffman Engineers is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer who will be a Winter 2025 or Spring 2026 graduate with a Bachelor of Science (B. S.) degree in Fire Protection Engineering or Fire Protection & Safety Engineering Technology. The successful candidate will have a desire to work, grow, and have fun with a multi-discipline engineering team. They are passionate about engineering and looking for an environment that promotes professional growth and technical excellence. This position will support the team in providing our clients with: life safety code analysis; egress analysis; fire resistant rated construction analysis; automatic suppression system design and analysis; fire detection, alarm and communication system design and analysis; smoke control system design and special inspections; site inspections and witnessing of life safety system testing; fire hazard analysis; performance-based design; as well as general fire protection and life safety concepts.
