Overview

Associate Director of Health Professions Continuing Studies College of Health, University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA). The Alaska Center for Rural Health Health Workforce (ACRH-HW) strengthens systems to deliver healthcare to rural Alaskans and houses Alaskas Area Health Education Center (AHEC) Program Office, a statewide university-industry partnership to strengthen and diversify Alaskas health workforce.

The Associate Director of Health Professions Continuing Studies is responsible for the development and production of all Continuing Studies programs, including oversight of all team functions, budget oversight and management, program marketing, evaluation coordination, program structure, expansion, development, improvement, and oversight.


Responsibilities



  • Develop and produce all Continuing Studies programs and oversee all related team functions.

  • Manage program budgets and expenditures.

  • Lead program marketing, outreach, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Coordinate program evaluation efforts and reporting.

  • Shape program structure, expansion, development, and continuous improvement.


Qualifications



  • Master's degree in a related field with seven years of health or education-related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.


Employment Details



  • Full-time, term-funded, 12-month, exempt staff position.

  • Competitive salary and benefits package (retirement options, annual leave, paid holidays, tuition waivers, health coverage).

  • Salary placement on UA staff salary schedule, Grade 82, based on education and experience.
