Loss Control and Quality Assurance (LCQA) is seeking a highly motivated professional to champion process ownership and support the execution of Marathon Petroleum Corporations (MPC) loss control program. LCQA delivers comprehensive services for Marine Vessels, Terminals, Pipeline Systems, and Refineries at both MPC and customer locations. Reporting to the Loss Control Support Services Manager, this position collaborates with commercial teams to create data visualization reports, validate data sources and manage BI report workflows. Leading risk evaluation efforts, the role oversees the BI Report, analyzes data trends, and develops actionable insights for regional teams, including providing critical insights for strategy meetings. Safety is a core focus, with responsibilities that include aligning regional field activities with safety initiatives, scheduling department-wide meetings, and serving as the safety advocate in the Commercial Safety Program. This position also develops program and process documentation, identifies improvement opportunities, and ensures compliance with company records keeping and knowledge management guidelines.
Success in this position requires strong technical expertise, interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to analyze and interpret data. Up to 25% travel is expected but may fluctuate at times to effectively fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
