Job Details

This is a professional level position within the Eagle River/ Chugiak Division of the Parks & Recreation Department. Under general direction, is responsible for participation in the formulation and administration of park maintenance, planning and development projects, the administration of contracts, budgets, and work programs, for performance of the more difficult and complex park planning and development work. This position requires strong technical skills and a background in planning and/or landscape architecture. This position involves but is not limited to project management of park and trail development projects, both in house and under contract to design consultants. Park and Facility inspections as needed. Coordination of the public involvement and project review process is required. Lead responsibility of multi-disciplinary park project staff and volunteers.
