Dental Hygienist

Job Summary: Responsible for conducting dental hygiene examinations and treatment on un'ina and assisting in improving the knowledge level of un'ina on preventative oral hygiene.

Essential Functions:

1. Performs routine dental hygiene examinations and clinical services.
2. Reviews un'ina medical and dental history for evidence of past and present conditions.
3. Performs specialized dental hygiene procedures that could involve administration of local anesthetic.
4. Communicates effectively with other health care providers and un'ina.
5. Maintain Schedule and ensure optimal flow of daily duties.

Working Conditions:

Lifting Requirements - Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg control requires exertion of forces greater than that of sedentary work and if the worker sits most of the time, the job is considered light work.
