Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:The Heavy Equipment Operator operates light and heavy-duty ground motorized equipment such as Front-End Loaders, Telehandler Forklift and or other related mobile equipment. Schedule: Monday - Friday

• 60 hours per week

Essential Job Functions:

• Load and unload tractor trailers
• Identify, stage and organize construction site materials
• Competently operate front end loader using forks, bucket and stinger
• Competently operate telehandler forklift to support industrial oilfield construction activities to include snow removal
• Other duties as assigned

Required Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, or Equivalent
• Two (2) years industrial heavy equipment operating experience
• Current and valid driver's license, with clean driving record required

Post Job Offer Requirements:

• Take and pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Take and pass a Fit-For-Duty Examination.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

• Knowledge of Heavy Civil Construction and characteristics of all equipment functions and operations.
• Knowledge of proper equipment use conducive to conditions and assignment.
• Knowledge of Hazardous Materials and Safety Regulations and industry practices related to equipment use and operation.
• Skills in operating heavy equipment and machines proficiently and safely.
• Skills in daily maintenance of machines including repairs and inspecting equipment to identify possible problems.
• Ability to use time and equipment efficiently to complete projects on time.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to handle stress and possess positive trait even in difficult or challenging situations.
• Ability to attend training sessions, seminars and appropriate educational classes required by department.
