The National Airspace Systems Integration Support (NISC) program at Leidos is excited to invite applications for the role of Logistics Operations Analyst. In this critical position, you will play a key role in preparing meaningful business intelligence documents for FAA senior leaders, Lines of Businesses, and external stakeholders. Your expertise will support the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Engineering Services Group in Anchorage, AK, as we work towards transforming National Airspace Connectivity from TDM to IP.

As part of our team, you will directly contribute to the daily operations of the FAA's Legacy Infrastructure to Future Technologies (LIFT) Portfolio, which includes Telecommunications Infrastructure Replacement, Small Tower Voice Switches, Air to Ground Protocol Converters, and NEXCOM Radios. Your ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams including Engineering Services, Air Traffic Operations, Technical Operations, and System Operations will be essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule the timely delivery of parts and commodities according to established procedures.
  • Conduct audits and analyses of information from various sources to ensure accuracy with respect to delivery schedules, inventory levels, and requirements.
  • Reconcile discrepancies in information to reduce disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Maintain and update systems responsible for distributing materials management information to relevant recipients.
  • Facilitate the flow of critical materials management information between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyze information to identify supply chain trends or issues, and propose potential solutions for limited scope problems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient in conducting research, evaluations, and developing recommendations for the FAA.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory management or logistics.
  • Experience in indirect procurement and supplier management.
  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree with less than 2 years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance Suitability (eligible candidates must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent Residents who have resided in the U.S. for the last 3 of the past 5 years).
  • Travel may be required.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience working with multiple lines of business within the FAA.
  • 2+ years of experience collaborating with enterprise support organizations such as facilities, shipping/receiving, export, and procurement.
  • Strong knowledge of good materials management practices.
  • Familiarity with FAA procurement processes and internal supply chain operations.
  • Previous experience with FAA shipping/receiving procedures.
  • Proficient in working with spreadsheet applications.
