The Division of Personnel and Labor Relations provides policy, consultative guidance, and human resource services to State of Alaska Executive Branch agencies.

Classification Services provides consultation and expertise in job analysis while administering fair and equitable job classification and pay structures to support the State of Alaska's civil service.

State HR professionals support the public service mission while improving State workplaces. A solid understanding of classification is foundational to a career in HR.

Positions will be filled in Anchorage or Juneau, depending on the location of the selected candidate. This position offers a hybrid telework schedule and is required to work in the office a minimum of two 8-hour workdays each week.

You will interact with clients and team members in an office setting, over the phone, and in a digital environment. This includes using Microsoft Office/365 applications such as Teams, SharePoint, Word, and Excel, as well as Workplace Alaska, IRIS, and Aspire Alaska.
