Alsco Aviation is an Aircraft Repair Station specializing in the repair and overhaul of aircraft wheels, brakes, and batteries.

Essential Job Functions:

Inspect, repair, and overhaul aircraft wheels and brakes per FAA, OEM, and customer requirements.

Previous NDT (ET, MT, PT) experience preferred

Job Specific Requirements:

Licenses/Certificates: A&P license, respirator fit eligible

Physical: Routinely lift up to 80 pounds, work with moving parts and vibrations; tolerate products and materials associated with component maintenance; tolerate standing, sitting, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma, or equivalent

2 years aviation experience, including NDT experience

US citizen

Read and write English

Qualifications:

Must have good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Demonstrate ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral and diagram form.

Thorough knowledge of technical publications related to aircraft wheels and brakes.

Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities:

Perform all assigned maintenance duties in accordance with FAA, OEM, and customer requirements including, but not limited to inspections, servicing, and repairing aircraft wheels and brakes.

Sign and be accountable for all work accomplished on components.

Perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsible for inspecting, servicing and maintaining components, effectively perform work to meet deadlines and performance goals.

Environmental:

Tolerate working in a noisy environment.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.56 - $24.76 per hour
