Job Title: Baggage Handler
Location: Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) - Anchorage, AK
Pay Rate: $17.25 per hour
Schedule: Primarily Evening & Weekend Shifts | Full-Time
Position Summary:

Huntleigh USA is currently seeking reliable and motivated individuals for Baggage Handler positions at ANC. As a Baggage Handler, you will play a vital role in helping ensure smooth and efficient operations for our airline partners by handling luggage safely and accurately.

We are hiring for full-time positions, with shifts primarily during evenings and weekends. Please note: some positions may be temporary and run through the end of the busy season (October), while others will transition to permanent roles.
Key Responsibilities:

• Safely load and unload passenger luggage to and from aircraft and baggage carts
• Transport luggage between terminals and aircraft using baggage tugs or carts
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of baggage to designated areas
• Provide professional and courteous service to airline passengers and personnel
• Follow all airport and airline safety and security procedures
• Lift, carry, and move bags and cargo weighing up to 75 lbs

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Must pass TSA/FBI background check and obtain airport security clearance
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable transportation to/from ANC airport

• Able to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
• Dependable and punctual
• Previous baggage handling or ramp experience is a plus, but not required
