Description:

The Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Training Program offers you an exciting entry-level opportunity aimed at preparing you for a rewarding Store Management position in just 18-24 months. At Sherwin-Williams, we believe in promoting from within, and upon completion of our initial 8-week training, you will have the chance to advance into an Assistant Store Manager role.

This role typically requires a commitment of 44 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.

During the program, you will work closely with store management to oversee a thriving business valued at over a million dollars. You'll provide leadership and strategic insight, and learn about operations and customer engagement, all while contributing to the store's success. You will play a critical role in expanding our market share by catering to large commercial clients such as painting contractors, purchasing agents, and manufacturers.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • A valid, unrestricted Driver's License is necessary.
  • A bachelor's degree is required by the start of the program.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
  • Leadership experience supervising teams.
  • Experience in team-oriented environments, including work, extracurricular activities, or military service.
  • Prior experience selling paint or related products is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with timekeeping and/or customer relationship management systems.
  • Willingness to relocate for future positions.
  • Ability to communicate in more than one language is a plus.
  • Spanish language skills are particularly desirable.
