The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Community Health Aide is responsible for providing acute, chronic, emergency, and preventive medical health care to Village residents under the direction of the medical doctors in Anchorage and according to the CHA/P Manual. The CHA Practitioner is expected to operate within the guidelines of the CHA/P Manual and their level of training and the scope of practice consistent with their level of training. CHA Practitioner is also expected to act within the limits of their Standing Orders (SO) when applicable.
Qualifications:
SCF programs are established to serve a primary population comprised of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF's geographical service area. Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of this population.
