Patient Transporter Opening At Providence Alaska Medical Center

The TLC Tech is responsible for assisting clinical staff and members of the interprofessional healthcare team, as assigned, under the direct supervision of clinical staff within the inpatient setting. This position performs delegated activities that include but are not limited to patient mobility and other patient maneuvers assisting patients in functional activities, transporting patients/equipment to and from treatment areas, maintaining equipment and supplying procurement, and a variety of basic clerical functions. Primary focus is to respond to and complete requests as outlined by the department scope of service utilizing the Epic Transport Command Center automated dispatching system.

Patient Transporter - Full-Time (1.0 FTE, Variable Shift, 40 Hours Per Week)

Required Qualifications:

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year In Lift Team
• 6 months working in health care with patient contact.
• 6 months CNA experience

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
