The expected base salary range for this position is $72,090-$112,000. This salary range may vary based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, education, and geographic location.
JOB SUMMARY: The Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of client projects and ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget and according to the agreed upon scope of work. The Project Manager will serve as the bridge between our clients, internal teams and partners to manage the operational execution of projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The accountabilities listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
Lead as the operational interface between the client and Company for project/service solutions.
Responsible for managing and monitoring the scope of projects and complex programs, which include management of tasks for solution planning, analysis, configuration, and execution. Help facilitate implementing business and system process best practices.
Manage relationship and communication strategy with business and executive stakeholders (internal and external).
Undertake strategy creation for contingency planning and risk mitigation.
Responsible for planning and scheduling project goals, milestones and deliverables.
Oversight of budget, financial reconciliation, and tracking of milestones against scope.
Create and manage project plans and timelines.
Define project schedules, allocate resources and monitor progress.
Align project objectives with company goals and ensure project team is clear on objectives.
Lead process of issue identification and resolution.
Oversee deliverables of team members allocated to their projects.
May represent WCG at in-person events in partnership with cross-functional teams.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSE/REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: PMP Certification desired.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
At least 3 years of project management experience managing all stages of the project life cycle, from developing complete project plans to executing the management and implementation of those plans on time and within budget.
Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience desired.
Strong financial acumen with demonstrated knowledge of financial management and forecasting skills.
Knowledge of project management software tools and management techniques.
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage, motivate, and integrate a team.
Excellent problem solving/decision making.
Outstanding written and oral communication.
Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to utilize technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and service.
Demonstrated negotiation skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to lead through influencing and negotiating.
Strong facilitation and coordination skills.
Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient knowledge of MS Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as awareness of Adobe, Visio and MS Project and the ability to produce detailed reports and presentations using these tools.
