Senior Buyer provides procurement services as they relate to obtaining services, general goods and supplies, and technical hardware and software in accordance with applicable laws. Perform all administrative processes required by initiating, reviewing, soliciting, evaluating, and selecting vendors through the solicitation/ award function of the procurement cycle. Demonstrate consistent initiative and good judgment and communicate in a clear and concise manner performing job duties and functions as they relate to the process of obtaining goods, supplies and services for the Municipality of Anchorage. Minimum Qualifications / Substitutions / Preferences Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Finance or similar discipline and three (3) years of experience in procurement, bidding, proposals, and contract management.
