Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium has a hiring preference for qualified Alaska Native and American Indian applicants pursuant to P.L. 93-638 Indian Self Determination Act.

This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of fundraising and grantmaking processes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in database management and project coordination, as well as, strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Summary

Under general supervision, the Development Operations Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Healthy Alaska Natives Foundation (HANF). This position plays a key role in supporting the operational and philanthropic mission of both HANF and ANTHC. will be responsible for managing administrative processes related to fundraising, donor relations, and grantmaking. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail oriented, and comfortable managing information across systems.

Responsibilities

Perform all aspects of gift administration, ensuring accurate gift data for financial and donor relations purposes, timely acknowledgment and receipting, develops and manages systems and procedures for gift and data processing to ensure consistency and accuracy.

M anage the donor database, event platform, and credit card processor ensuring accurate transactions and data integrity.

C ollaborate with the finance department to reconcile transactions and ensure accurate record-keeping.

I mplement a comprehensive and personalized donor stewardship program that regularly acknowledges, recognizes, and informs donors.

P repare donor reports and mailing lists for appeals, newsletters, and campaigns.

O versee completion of payment processing tasks such as check requests, requisitions, contracting. Maintain appropriate records and prepare reports as required.

S upport the full grantmaking lifecycle, including application intake, tracking, award processing, and reporting.

C ommunicate with grantees regarding application status, reporting, and payment logistics.

S upport fundraising efforts by assisting with event planning, logistics, and follow-up.

P rovide general administrative support. Assist with Board meeting logistics and materials. Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.

S upport clear, consistent communication with internal teams, grantees, donors, and community partners. Deliver high-quality customer service and maintain professional relationships.

P erforms other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of Alaska Tribal Health System, ANTHC, and Alaska Native culture(s) and politics.

Knowledge of development and fundraising concepts, practices and approaches applicable in varied environments.

MINIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

A Bachelor's degree in business, nonprofit management, communications or healthcare administration. Progressively responsible professional work-related experience, education or training may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for college education.

mInimum Experience Qualification

Non-supervisory – Five (5) years of professional work experience in the field of development or related field required. Must also have demonstrated experience in database management.
